Massey Emergency Management
Massey Emergency Management is the world leader in disaster planning and life safety. Since 1986 Massey has supported our clients during many large-scale disasters (including 9/11 and hurricane Katrina). Thanks to the level of dedication and commitment to our clients, today we protect more than 800M square feet of property in over 100 cities, including some of the highest and most iconic buildings in the nation.
Most of the largest fire and police departments in the U.S. have now deployed our technology to improve response and provide accurate information to deal with crises large and small at our clients’ buildings. Massey is also part of the dispatch system in many states, this means that any time a unit is dispatched to one of the buildings we protect, they are told it is a Massey protected building and can plan accordingly.
Our core objectives in the event of a natural or man-made disaster are eliminating or minimizing the loss of life, reducing tenant displacement and building “down time," minimizing property damage and/or monetary loss and providing first responders with the resources they need to better respond to client buildings.
We do this by providing:
·Building pre-plans; complete with annotated building shut offs and user-friendly diagrams.
·A state-of-the-art app that allows users to annotate and send information between users.
·Reaction guides to over 130 emergency and non-emergent events, including who to contact. during each type of event.
·Mass emergency notification systems.
·Virtual evacuation drills.
·A tenant training portal.
